So me and my girl have lived together for 2 years now, and we decided to do a pre-valentines dinner this year since it falls on a Monday.
Took her to Portland City Grill, 30th floor, window seats, looked up when sunset would be that day when making the reservation so that we could be seated 30 minutes before sunset.
She’s a big natural freak, serious backpacker, so this spot was a nice pick I thought because you can see Mt Hood, Mt. St. Helens, and Mt Adams all from our seats during sunset, it was perfect.
Fast-forward to actual Valentine’s Day.
She texts me while we are both at work and asks if we can have dinner with one of her ex boyfriends.
Reluctantly agreed, I really like the location she picked. She knows this.
Fast forward to 2 hrs before dinner.
Getting home from work, she says the plan is we will all meet at our place and walk to dinner.
